Day 5, I give myself permission to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
This is a great wish, since I’m still pumped from Easter (Resurrection Sunday). This is the best holiday ever because my Savior is alive. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. There is no where we can go where he isn’t present. There’s no thought we can have that he isn’t aware of it. And, there is nothing he can’t do.
So, why would I withhold sharing the good news about the access we have to God? Mainly fear of rejection from friends and family.
I’m encouraged by the number of my friends who boldly, openly, honestly, and with absolute love share the gospel (the good news of Jesus Christ) with others. I, on the other hand, believed a lie from the pit of hell that no one would want to hear what I have to say after examining my life. Yet, God says in the bible in the Book of Isaiah 55:11, “So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” So, all I have to do is share; God does the rest!
Look out friends, I’m about to shower you with love. 🙂
LOVE this! (could only say “like” on FB!
Resurrection Sunday boldness coming through! 🙂
“God does the rest.” So true!
Yep, Esther! My friend, Denise Rouse, say it perfectly on FB yesterday. She said, “Let me introduce you to, not a religion, but a relationship with Jesus.” So, that’s all I’m doing is an introduction! 🙂
