I had my IRS tax audit yesterday, and just as I suspected we owe. We owe $7,000 plus change. This is only the beginning because now the State will review our 2008 taxes, and we’ll owe them as well. However, I’m standing on many of the promises of God – 1: He will not leave me nor forsake me, 2: If God is for you, who can be against you, and 3: Draw nearer to God, and he’ll draw nearer to you!
I’m encouraged, hopeful, and truly have peace about this. If by the grace of God, Ryan and I can see $60,000 dwindle down to $27,000 in two years surely God has a way for us to deal with $7,000. 1Corinthians 10:13 says, “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” The victory in this situation, as in all of them, goes to our Lord!
I will continue to operating under the promise of not worrying and not complaining!
